Winable is a brand new win tracker app, meticulously crafted to foster a winning mindset. This project aimed to conceptualize, design, and develop a user-friendly application empowering individuals to track and celebrate their daily victories. Built upon scientific studies affirming the profound benefits of a winning mindset, Winable serves as a catalyst for users to make conscious life choices, nurture positivity, combat depression, and embrace gratitude in their everyday experiences, ultimately propelling them toward their aspirations.
Our primary focus for the platform was on simplicity, crucial for habit formation around win tracking. Informed by comprehensive user research, our approach delved deep into habit trackers and mental health applications, uncovering effective strategies for cultivating a winning mindset. We explored diverse methodologies, with particular emphasis on dynamic notifications, variable rewards, badge achievements and social proof mechanisms like friend and team grouping.
Winable launched on the iOS and Google Play Store in January 2024, offering users a platform to turn any moment into a win. The app employs variable rewards like celebratory GIFs and powerful quotes to reinforce a winning mindset. It offers users the ability to track their progress, set daily goals, and even attach images to their daily logged wins. Features like high-fives for encouragement and team collaboration further enhance the user experience and social proof efforts. Since launch, Winable has experienced a surge in user adoption, with ongoing improvements and feature additions to support users in achieving daily victories.
