Our team spearheaded the launch of a groundbreaking hardware product, which entailed naming the new device and crafting a fresh website offering in-depth product insights. Our goal was to empower users to make informed decisions and easily locate sellers. Furthermore, we took charge of developing both animated and live-action videos to effectively promote and educate users about the advantages of Google Meet hardware, thus defining the visual identity and overseeing video production.
Achieving a delicate balance between educational and inspirational content within a minimalistic design framework was paramount for the website's success. We initiated the process with meticulous wireframing and site mapping to establish a coherent layout and intuitive flow, complemented by sorting filters to enhance information accessibility. The launch website prominently features the Meet Series One Hardware, alongside offerings from Logitech, ASUS, Jamboard, and Acer technology.
Our approach was deeply rooted in user-centric design principles, with user personas guiding product placement and content development. Adherence to Google's brand guidelines ensured consistency and clarity throughout the project. We conducted hands-on testing of the hardware to inform feature curation, supplemented by valuable insights gleaned from user interviews, internal data analysis, and collaboration with hardware teams such as Logitech.
